Alternative Intervention Pathways

INSIGHT provides trauma-informed assessment, diversion, and behavioural consultation services designed to reduce repeated escalation and support long-term stability. Our work is grounded in evidence-based principles, including Risk–Need–Responsivity (RNR) theory, which emphasizes matching the right level of support to actual risk, targeting meaningful change factors, and delivering services in ways individuals can understand and engage with.

Services focus on identifying drivers of challenging behaviour, strengthening protective factors, and supporting informed decision-making that reduces the likelihood of recurrence. Work is delivered with individuals, families, and service providers in community and supported-living contexts, with an emphasis on prevention, readiness, and practical strategies that promote safety, dignity, and sustainable outcomes.
